Losing your Pride

I have been having a few days where God is reemphasizing the need for one to clothe himself with humility. I have had a few relational difficulties recently where I was so enraged that I was unsure of how to go about dealing with this particular person. As I prayed to God on what to do as removed myself emotionally from this person, God pointed me towards this scripture-

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). The peacemakers that shine brightest are not those who merely mediate between conflicted parties, but those who, by their humble example of admitting sin and graciously forgiving others, demonstrate how peace is made — the only way real peace is made."

I listened to a message yesterday where God was speaking to me about a Leviathan spirit can come into your life and the only way to get rid of it is to humble one self. Then this morning, I came across an article by John Piper saying the same. Its time to humble?
